Hi! My name is Mrs. Talmadge and I am SO excited to be your teacher this year! We are going to have a lot of fun and do a lot of learning together! Second grade is filled with lots of exciting growth and discovery.

This is my 18th year of teaching and my 9th year teaching 2nd grade at STEAM. I live in Ypsilanti with my husband, Mr. Talmadge, our 3 kids Kohen, Adeline, and Eloise, and our lovable animals Marshmallow and June.

It’s important to know all of the 2nd-grade teachers. We do a lot together and try to think of ourselves as one big 2nd-grade family. Mrs. Essenberg and Mrs. Ideson are the other 2nd-grade teachers you will get to know this year!
