Purpose of Meeting: The PTO President will only be able to serve one year of her two-year term due to other Thurston obligations.   We are meeting to vote on a replacement for the remaining one year.

Brandy C. Merritt put her name forward as a candidate. No other board members expressed interest in the President position.

Alisa Cox was the only member expressing interest in the Vice President position if it should become vacated by Ms. Merritt.

No one expressed interest in the open Fundraising Position if it should become vacated by Ms. Cox

If any position is not filled by meetings’ end, that remaining year will be filled at the same time as the full term Spring elections.

After voting, the President’s term will be completed by Brandy C. Merritt, the Vice President position will be completed by Alisa Cox, and the Fundraising Position will be up for general election.
