Posted by Tony Whiren on 6/3/2024After a beautiful day on Friday at Midland Tennis Center, I wanted to share our exciting and historic results of the Girl's State Finals Tournament with everyone. Out of the 27 participating schools, Huron tied for 15th in the State, along with Rochester and Ann Arbor Skyline.With 4 first-round victories coming from Jiajia Huang (3rd Singles), Neha Gundala (4th Singles), Maya Fu/Zoe Zhang (2nd doubles), and Shannon Fiddy/Kayla Fiddy (4 doubles). The rest of the team battled fierce competition with their close matches, inspiring their teammates and themselves for future matches. We left feeling inspired and passionate for next year's season!Go Rats!Coach Lizzie Williamson

Payment can be made via Paypal to treasurer@huronrowing.com. Fundraiser runs 5/1-5/15. Below is additional information including cost and what the profits of the fundraiser will support.Profits from this fundraiser will provide Huron Rowing the much-needed additional income for purchases, maintenance, and improvements to our fleet, launches, engines and much more. Some of those current needs are reflected below.
Boat/Fleet Replacements - Average $40K each
Shared Dock Replacement with UM Men's Rowing Club, Pioneer High School & Ann Arbor Rowing Club at Bandemer Park- $20K-$30K
Launch Motors Replacements - $10K
Replacement Parts & Upgrades - $6K
