Lindsey Birrell attended Wayne State University for her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice as well as her Master of Social Work. While in her Master's program, Lindsey had internships at Mount Clemens Community Schools as well as The ENOUGH Initiative. Lindsey has always had a passion for working with children, babysitting was her first job when she was young and being a nanny got her through the 4 years of undergrad. Lindsey worked in research at the Wayne State School of Social Work prior to beginning with Ann Arbor, where she worked throughout grad school. Lindsey began working as a School Social Worker for Ann Arbor Public Schools in October 2021. Lindsey is excited to be working with the kiddos at King Elementary School and youth at Clague Middle School, and looks forward to continuing to learn from the admin, teachers and staff surrounding her.
