Greetings !

I’m very fortunate and blessed to work at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary school as a paraprofessional!  I’ve been here since 2012.  I truly enjoy working with our amazing teachers and staff, and many wonderful children. To see each of them grow, learn, and play is a privilege to be apart of their educational journey.

I grew up right here in Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor, and attended Washtenaw Community College to study Early Childhood Education and earned a Child Care Professional Certification, and also earned an Associate’s degree in Elementary Education in 2008.  I also continued my studies in Elementary Education at Eastern Michigan University. I’ve worked as a childcare professional for about 6 years before I began working within the Ypsilanti and AAPS districts.

I enjoy spending quality time with my family, teaching Christian Education to five and six year olds at my church, dining and hanging out with friends, LOVE TO READ, outdoor walks, and I have a keen interest in Art and Interior Design.
