I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in Science and a masters degree in Early Childhood Education. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and preschool while teaching with Ann Arbor Public Schools. I have also had amazing experiences working in interim administrative roles.

Prior to teaching, I worked in the restaurant industry for over fifteen years in a variety of positions. Teaching is what I had always wanted to do, so I decided to change careers.

I am very excited to be part of the Mitchell community. I am also honored to be part of the community working towards becoming an International Baccalaureate school.

I enjoy hiking, kayaking, reading, playing with our dogs, and traveling.
