2023 Flu Shot Clinics for Staff & Their Families


  • medical symbol sick mother & child In an effort to help AAPS employees remain healthy during the flu season, the AAPS offers convenient flu clinics in partnership with U of M Michigan Visiting Care.
  • Michigan Medicine will hold on-site flu shot clinics for AAPS staff and family members ages 9 and older over the next several weeks. The clinics will be first-come, first-served; no appointment is necessary. (Flu shots only - no COVID boosters.)

    Here are some upcoming scheduled dates, times and locations through October 20, 2023 (more dates and locations will be shared as they become available).

    Please see attached a complete list of accepted insurances. **Insurance card must be presented to clinic staff**

    Don’t have accepted insurance? You may pay by credit card or check payable to the University of Michigan: $44 for a regular flu shot or $67.60 for high dose (only given to individuals 65 years and older).

    Not a U of M patient? Recently moved? Changed insurance? Please call the UM Registration Department at 866-452-9896 to set up an account or update your information. This will reduce wait time at the flu shot clinic.

    Note: The flu vaccination is administered in the upper arm.  Please wear clothing that provides access to your upper arm.

  • Why should you attend an on-site flu shot clinic?
    • It’s conveniently located, so you don’t have to go out of your way to get your flu shot.
    • According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the best way to prevent influenza is to receive a seasonal flu shot.
