Christy Garrett has been a teacher at Ann Arbor Huron High School since the fall of 1996. She is a vocationally certified business education teacher with primary expertise in Personal Finance and Accounting. Ms. Garrett serves as the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Co-Department Chair for her school.

Ms. Garrett is an Advisor for the Huron Business Professionals of America (BPA) Club. She has been a Business Professionals of America Advisor since 1996, chaperoning students to State and National Leadership Conferences in Grand Rapids, Boston, Washington D.C., Anaheim, Orlando, Dallas, Chicago, Reno, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis. In March 2015, Ms. Garrett was presented the Barbara Chambers Advisor of the Year Award by Michigan BPA.

Ms. Garrett helped launch the first Career-related Programme in the State of Michigan and has been teaching CP Core and PPS since 2018. She is a passionate advocate for the CP and would love to talk to any interested students or parents about the potential impact of the program.
