Ms. Andrea Clyne

Ms. Clyne's Website

Ms. Clyne has been teaching French at Huron since 2014. She has over 15 years of experience in secondary education and has taught in the AAPS district since 2008. After completing a BA (French) and BS (Environmental Studies) at UofM, MS. Clyne spent two and a half years in Madagascar as an Environmental Education Volunteer in the Peace Corps (2001-2004) and led experiential summer high school programs in Madagascar for two years afterwards. In 2006 Ms. Clyne earned her Master’s in Education and her secondary teaching certificate from the University of Michigan; in 2018 she completed a second Master’s degree in TESOL (EMU).

Ms. Clyne is passionate about languages, history, foreign film, art, and travel. She has studied multiple languages and traveled to over 40 countries. She spends most of her free time outdoors in nature kayaking, skiing, running, biking, sailing or hiking with her dogs, but also enjoys reading, cooking, and gardening.
